We thought this article recently published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, which outlined five tips on how to stay active and remain calm, could be useful.

  1. Recruit a gym buddy – on the phone! – to discuss your activity goals and achievements and check-in once a week
  2. Take this time to spring clean your house
  3. Offer to pick-up groceries for a neighbour that might be self-isolating
  4. Go online. There are hundreds of free exercise classes online
  5. Practise mindfulness
